Who can file a claim?Individuals must meet all of the following criteria:They were a Louisiana policyholder or insured by an applicable State Farm entity.They submitted a covered first-party private passenger auto physical damage claim.They submitted their claim during the period from May 17, 2022, through May 21, 2026.The claim resulted in a total loss claim payment from State Farm.The total loss payment did not include purchasing fees, which include:Sales taxTitle fees (including transfer handling fees)Notary feesRegistration and license plate transfer feesTag feesThe settlement administrator used State Farm’s records to identify potential class members and sent notices by mail or email to individuals who may qualify. Individuals who did not receive a notice but believe they meet the criteria can still submit a claim by providing the necessary information.
