Terms of Service

These Terms are a contract between you and NICE DIJITAL TEKNOLOJILER YAZILIMLARI, a company registered in Türkiye (“SettleScout”, “we”, “us”). They apply to the SettleScout mobile app, this website, and everything we offer through them (together, the “Service”).

By downloading the app or using the site, you accept them. If you do not, do not use the Service.

How we handle your information is set out separately in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms.

SettleScout collects publicly available information about class action settlements, matches it against the brands and services you tell us you use, tracks the deadlines, and links you to the official claim form for each one.

We also do not file claims for you. When you decide to claim, you complete the official, court-appointed administrator's own form yourself. Filing is free. Any figure we show is an estimate drawn from the settlement documents, not an offer or a promise of payment, and pro-rata settlements routinely pay less than the headline number.

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher. By using the Service you confirm that you are, that you are using it for yourself, and that you are not barred from using it under the laws that apply to you.

There is no registration and no password. The app generates a random identifier on your device and stores your preferences and claims against it. Anyone with access to your unlocked device can therefore see your claim history, so securing the device is your responsibility. If you uninstall the app or reset that identifier, we cannot reconnect you to your previous records — that is a direct consequence of not asking you to create an account.

Settlement details come from third-party sources: court filings, administrator websites, and public announcements. They change without notice. Deadlines move, funds are reallocated, settlements are appealed, and occasionally a case that looked settled turns out not to be.

We correct what we find, but we make no guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete, or current. Always verify eligibility, the deadline, the required proof, and the payout on the official administrator's website before you file. Where the two disagree, the administrator is right and we are wrong.

You are responsible for everything you submit on a claim form, and for claiming only where you genuinely qualify. Filing a false or fraudulent claim is a serious matter: it can get the claim denied, and in some jurisdictions it is a criminal offence.

We have no role in the outcome. We do not decide eligibility, we do not process payments, we cannot chase an administrator on your behalf, and we are not responsible for a claim being rejected, delayed, reduced, or paid less than an estimate suggested.

SettleScout is free to download and free to browse. Some features require a paid subscription, billed weekly, monthly or yearly through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

• Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancel in your device's store settings — Apple ID subscriptions on iOS, Google Play subscriptions on Android. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not shorten or refund the period you have already paid for.
• Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then.
• We may change prices, with notice before the change affects your renewal.

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us. We cannot issue a refund for a store purchase; request it through the store. If you are a consumer in a country with a statutory cancellation or cooling-off right, that right stands and nothing here limits it.

If you apply to the partner programme, acceptance is at our discretion and we may decline without giving a reason. Approved partners receive a promo code and are paid on the terms agreed at approval. Promoting SettleScout with false claims — guaranteed payouts, invented settlement amounts, or implying we are a law firm or act for a court — ends the arrangement immediately and forfeits unpaid commission.

Do not:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to submit false or misleading claims;
• scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract our settlement data, or resell it;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app;
• interfere with the Service or attempt to gain access to systems or data you are not entitled to;
• impersonate SettleScout, or present the Service as legal advice to other people.

The SettleScout name, logo, design, written content and software are ours and are protected by intellectual property law. You get a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own purposes — nothing more. Underlying court records and settlement documents are public; our selection, wording, and arrangement of them are not.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will find every settlement you qualify for. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions; where that is so, they do not apply to you.

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or a settlement payment you did not receive — including where a deadline was missed, a listing was wrong, or a notification did not arrive.

Where we are liable, our total liability is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 50 USD.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for the statutory rights of consumers.

You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app; to delete what we hold, make a deletion request. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service to defraud a settlement fund. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

We may revise these Terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version, and we will give notice in the app before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept the revision; if you do not, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer, this does not take anything away from you. You keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and the right to bring proceedings there. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest stands.
