Gosiger Machine Tools LLC agreed to pay $241,500 to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging its job postings in Washington state did not disclose wage scales, salary ranges or a general description of benefits and other compensation as required by state law.

Class members must meet all of the following criteria:
They applied for a job opening with Gosiger Machine Tools LLC in the state of Washington.
They submitted the application between Jan. 1, 2023, and Aug. 17, 2026.
The job posting they responded to did not include a wage scale or salary range and/or did not provide a general description of benefits and other compensation to be offered to a hired applicant.
How much is the class action payment?
The total settlement fund is $241,500. After deducting attorneys’ fees and expenses, a service award to the lead plaintiff and settlement administration costs, the settlement administrator will distribute the remaining amount equally among all class members.
The estimated payment per class member is $1,841.27, which the administrator will report as nonwage damages on a 1099 tax form.
