Statement of Claim

CONSUMER LAW GROUP has instituted a Canadian class action lawsuit against Ford and Qmerit for the following alleged misrepresentations:

1) The Home Integration System is only available in the United States and is not available in Canada;

2) The Ford Charge Station Pro is incapable of charging F-150 Lightning EVs at a rate of “80 amps on demand”;

3) An electrician can install Ford Charge Stations, however Ford recommends a Qmerit electrician for the installation of Ford Charge Stations, which is significantly higher than that which would be charged by a qualified non-Qmerit electrician;

4) The Ford Connected Charge Station (retail price of $1,099.95) is compatible with and can be used to charge Ford F-150 Lightning EVs – rather than only the Ford Mustang-E and Ford E-Transit – as there is no appreciable difference in performance with the Ford Charge Station Pro (retail price of $1,799.95).
