Statement of Claim
Consumer Law Group has instituted a Canada-wide class action against Audible, Inc. with regards to allegations of unlawful practices related to the expiration of membership credits.
Audible’s expiration terms provide that Audible credits will expire (i) 12 months after their issuance or (ii) upon cancellation of a consumer’s membership. As a result, many consumers were unable to use all of their credits before they expired and were deprived of the benefit of the credits they paid for.
It is alleged that Audible violated the Consumer Protection Act and other applicable laws.
