About This Settlement
Farmers Insurance has agreed to a $1.25 million class action settlement to resolve claims that it violated the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by contacting consumers whose phone numbers were registered on the National Do-Not-Call Registry.
The Farmers Insurance settlement benefits individuals who received calls or text messages from insurance agents Nickolas Ward, Nate Esparza, Kyle Ryan Gray, Dustin Huffman, Jason Hall, Brian Shirey and LeNard Rhone or their agencies marketing Farmers Insurance from April 19, 2020, through June 15, 2026.
According to a class action lawsuit, Farmers Insurance violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by contacting consumers with marketing calls and messages despite their numbers being registered on the National Do-Not-Call Registry. The plaintiff in the case says he received multiple calls from Farmers Insurance agents despite never giving the company permission to contact him.
