The data breach occurred on May 20 and May 27, 2024, but it was only acknowledged by Ticketmaster and Live Nation in its filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission late on Friday, May 31, 2024. It has been reported that this data breach was perpetrated by stealing the login credentials from an employee’s ServiceNow account, which appears to have been integrated into Snowflake’s internal IT environment.
