The settlement class includes approximately 1,607 current and former NFCU account holders.Who can submit a claim for a Navy Federal Credit Union payout?Class members must meet the following criteria:They were a member of NFCU between Jan. 1, 2023, and Jan. 31, 2025.Someone submitted a personal loan application in their name using a device, such as a phone or computer, NFCU was not familiar with.NFCU deposited personal loan funds into their account.They submitted a claim to NFCU disputing the personal loan as fraudulent.NFCU denied their claim in whole or in part.NFCU has not recovered the unauthorized personal loan funds in full.How much are settlement payments?All class members will receive the following automatic benefits without needing to submit a claim form:Automatic loan cancellation: NFCU will cancel any outstanding balance on the unauthorized personal loan(s).
